" Our second visit to Chestnut Cottage this year - think that says it all. We liked it so much the first time, that we hired Walnut Cottage too for our return visit. Spotless, well-equipped accommodation in a great location for touring Normandy. Excellent amenities in the village and the nearby towns. Extremely child-friendly which made travelling with our baby (and now toddler) very easy ".

The village amenities included a bakery and butchers with Supermarkets and Restaurants a short drive away in Carentan.
The location ideal for visits to Normandy beaches , Bayeux and further afield Mont st Michel. Would strongly recommend a stay here ".

" We have just returned from a fantasic week in Chestnut cottage. The accommodation is superb there are plenty of top hotels that don't come near this standard. There is plenty of space for everyone. The property has every mod con you could wish for & is so comfortable it was a wrench to come home ".

" The gite if by far the best presented property we have rented for a holiday. It was 'surgically' clean, with 'as new' furniture and kitchen essentials. Wifi and Sky were great for the kids whether young or old.
There is a fantastic garden for children (and adults!) with plenty of play equipment ".

" We have been renting holiday homes for the past 25 years and this was the best so far. There was absolutely everything we required, the property was so very clean. We found the shops in the village very convenient as they were within walking distance. We had a very pleasant stay and would like to return soon. We found that having English TV was good and having WiFi was useful for planning trips and finding out information. We enjoyed revisiting the Normandy beaches, and were near enough to Granville to take a day trip to Jersey. We would thoroughly recommend this property to any friends wishing to visit the area ".

Could not have asked for a better place to stay; fully equipped and the washing machine was a must with three little girls! They loved the garden, their own private park. The adults loved the patio area where we could relax but know the girls were safe. Eileen and Jim from Cambridgeshire.

Les Gites Champetres are a perfect place for a holiday – the hosts are kind and helpful, always ready to make your stay even more comfortable. The gites are equipped to a highest standard with everything you need. The huge garden with a playground for children is a real advantage, especially for young families. We’ve had a wonderful stay with our children and grandchildren. The accommodation was perfect, especially the vast garden with trampoline and swings where our three year old was able to let off steam in total safety.
